Your Membership
On joining the HIAF, your named representative will be invited to attend the general meetings which are held five times a year at different venues around the country. These meetings, which are completely free to members, usually comprise talks by two speakers on current issues, a light lunch and a discussion session. They are excellent opportunities to share best practice, problems and experiences on given topics.
In addition, the HIAF holds an annual residential two day Conference on the latest issues affecting internal auditors in housing associations which attracts key speakers on significant topics. There are workshops to attend and opportunities to network, plus dinner with after-dinner speakers and further entertainment. It is extremely well attended by both internal auditors and Audit Committee members.
On receipt of your remittance you will receive a complete set of the HIAF documents and publications listed below:
- A copy of the Constitution of the Housing Association Internal Audit Forum
- A copy of the membership list
- Any other current free publications approved by the HIAF
