Our Objectives
Our vision is to be a beacon for best practice in internal auditing in housing associations and the wider group of Registered Providers of Social Housing (RPs).
To support our vision and mission, our objectives are:
- To promote best practice in internal audit within RPs by creating a centre of excellence in social housing internal audit matters.
- To promote best practice in internal audit within RPs by helping internal audit professionals develop their skills and knowledge.
- To promote best practice in internal audit within RPs by providing a platform for consultation and liaison.
- To promote best practice in internal audit within RPs by promoting the role of internal audit and influencing assurance related policy in social housing.
Note: In line with definitions from The Tenant Services Authority, we use the term ‘housing associations’ as a generic term for organisations legally known as registered social landlords.
