Everyone knows how to carry out an internal audit but are we aware of the changed environment that our organisations are working in now? This interactive one day course will consider some of the issues that are affecting your organization and how these impact upon internal audit and the way we audit. There will be case studies so that delegates can actually discuss and consider some of the issues that they may encounter at work. The areas covered will include: treasury management, asset management, value for money, customer involvement and supporting people.
The session will also include a consideration of whether auditors are reviewing the right areas and presenting the right information. Delegates are invited to provide Bill with a copy of the internal audit plan, risk register and an example audit report in advance if they wish. These will be anonymised for the session but will allow discussions around best practice.
For more information or to book please contact Paul McLoughlin. A fee of £70 will apply to non members, subject to availability. Restrictions may apply to members organisation proposing to send more than one delegate in the event of heavy demand.
