The quarter started during the development of the new HIAF website which went live on August 4th. The impact of the project has caused a distortion to the visitor statistics. e.g. The hit rate for July shows a dramatic increase, which can be equated to the additional load on the site to extract all the existing content in preparation for upload to the new site. And again in August we see a record hit rate of 45,000 compared with an average of 7,000 for previous months.
The statistic settle down in September and the outlook for the new site is very positive. Septembers hit rate is 60% up on the previous 6 months, recording a hit rate of 15,000, and October is forecast to be very strong.
