Validation of Performance Reporting Systems - Reviewed and Rewritten

The HIAF Internal Audit Programme Guide: ‘Validation of Performance Reporting Systems – a Toolkit for Internal Auditors’ was first produced in December 2004, (with minor updating in August 2005).  The Toolkit originally aimed to assist internal auditors in a number of possible ‘supplementary’ roles in relation to the validation of performance reporting systems within their organisations.  The Corporation requirement was that the validation itself should be undertaken by an external and independent third party.

The Toolkit has been fully reviewed and rewritten to reflect the revised validation requirement outlined in Circular 08/07 and the supporting framework and guidance published by the Housing Corporation in October 2007.  Download the toolkit from the Publications and Good Practice Guide section of the website.
