Since our last eZine, Jephson Housing Association Group hosted our seminar, Hot Topics. For details of the presentations. We are grateful to Andre Angelinetta for talking about Aster Housing Group's approach to risk management. Andre asked delegates to detail on post-it notes what they saw as key risks. Not surprisingly, the recession / credit crunch featured highly, and slightly more worryingly, lack of funds, shared ownership, (lack of) income and breaching financial covenants. Lack of strategy, lack of leadership and lack of capacity were also concerns as were the adequacy of information systems.
