Jane Bloodworth
Founder member and past chair of HIAF, Jane Bloodworth has sadly passed away after battling with cancer.
Jane’s cancer returned in September last year and although she knew it was terminal, Jane remained in good spirits. The end came quickly and unexpectedly though.
Jane helped to co-found HIAF whilst she worked for Hanover Housing Association. She moved on to be Chief Internal Auditor at DEFRA a few years ago and was a member of CIPFA’s Audit Panel.
Her friend and colleague, Kelsey Beswick informed HIAF of the news and asked that we let our members know the sad news. Kelsey wrote, “There will be people you are in contact with who knew Jane for whom I don’t have addresses and perhaps you would let them know. For those of you attached to the groups and committees of which Jane has been a member, it would be lovely if you would remember her to your members and let them know too.”
