HIAF Executive Committee welcomes two new members

HIAF is pleased to welcome Linda Elliott of KPMG LLP and Richard Houghton of Grant Thornton LLP as new members of its Executive Committee.

Linda, who is a senior internal audit manager at KPMG, will be overseeing Training as her primary role on the Executive Committee. This encompasses HIAF's members' events as well as keeping an eye on issues pertinent to the industry as a whole. At KPMG, Linda specialises in internal audit within the Infrastructure, Government and Healthcare Audit and Financial Advisory Practice. She has over 12 years internal audit experience at a range of clients including housing, education and the NHS.

Richard Houghton is a manager for Grant Thornton's Business Risk Services Group in the North. Richard has considerable experience of public sector work, including many RSLs and local authorities. He manages the delivery of housing work across the North specialising in Governance and Risk Management and therefore brings a wealth of experience to the Executive Committee's role of Governance.
