'All Change in Social Housing' HIAF Conference 2010
There are still places available for the HIAF residential conference on Tuesday 8 and Wednesday 9 June 2010 at Oulton Hall, Leeds.
- Have you let your internal audit colleagues know about the event?
- Would any of your audit committee members benefit from attending?
- Are there others within your organisation who might be interested, such as those involved with risk management?
If not, then you should because the conference will be outstanding as a result of the combined input of our sponsors, organisers and speakers who are all working hard to make the event a success - and booking online couldn't be easier!
The Conference's title - 'All Change in Social Housing' - describes the two-day programme that will take us on the journey towards embedded risk management, providing assurance, and supporting better governance.
One of the highlights is for those with an interest in unlawful subletting. Alan Bryce, Senior Manager, Counter Fraud Practice at the Audit Commission, will be running a workshop called ‘Who's in the House?' that will consider the issue of tenancy fraud highlighted in the Audit Commission publication ‘Protecting the Public Purse - fighting fraud in local government'.
Before and after the formal dinner Alex Crow will dazzle and amaze us with his mystifying mind reading and incredible magic.
Details about the conference have been circulated to members. Read more about HIAF's 2010 conference.
